Kentucky Home Performance (KHP)
A new program through the Kentucky Housing Corporation available to all homeowners interested in retro-fitting their homes for better energy efficiency. After completing a BPI Energy Assessment, auditors recommend retro-fits, including improvements to meet KHP requirements in ventilation, insulation, air-sealing, and combustion safety. Home Energy Partners is a KHP Certified BPI Assessor and Contractor. Additional recommendations may address Energy Star appliances, HVAC, windows, doors, and other energy efficiency improvements.

Home Energy Partners has audited 16 homes under this program with 10 successfully completed to the KY Home Performance standards. Four of the homes in which we were also the contractor reduced their air infiltration by over 50%. We look forward to hearing about the reduction in energy costs after the homeowners go through this coming winter.
